Commercial Finance Business Partner, Europe.
With a turnover of DKK 2 billion, operations across numerous European countries, and approximately 1,500 employees, Europe represents Hartmann’s largest and most strategically important region.
About the RoleWe are looking for a commercially driven and analytically strong finance professional to support our growth agenda by increasing financial transparency, optimizing pricing models, and driving revenue assurance. This role is a key part of Hartmann’s finance transformation, where we are building a proactive finance function that enables data-driven decision-making and supports strategic execution across the business.
As
Commercial Finance Business Partner, Europe, you will play a central role in developing pricing strategies, improving profitability, managing contracts, and delivering actionable financial insights. You will work closely with senior leadership and commercial teams to strengthen the financial foundation for commercial excellence.
Key Responsibilities:Commercial Excellence & Pricing Strategy
- Develop and implement dynamic pricing models to enhance revenue and competitiveness
- Support the sales organization with financial insights to improve customer profitability
- Conduct in-depth market and competitor analysis to guide strategic pricing decisions
Revenue Assurance & Profitability Analysis
- Ensure accurate revenue recognition and financial reporting
- Identify and mitigate risks related to revenue leakage and margin erosion
- Conduct detailed profitability analyses across products, customers, and markets
- Analyze cost structures and recommend initiatives to improve financial performance
Contract Management, Negotiation & Risk Mitigation
- Support contract negotiations with financial analysis and recommendations
- Advise on discount and bonus models for key accounts
- Oversee contract lifecycle management and ensure compliance
- Collaborate with Accounts Receivable to manage credit terms and collections
- Implement strong governance frameworks to safeguard revenue streams
Business Intelligence & Market Analysis
- Leverage tools such as PowerBI and Excel to analyze financial data and trends
- Provide timely, data-driven insights to support strategic decision-making
- Monitor market developments and business performance to identify risks and opportunities
Qualifications & Experience
- Master’s degree or Graduate Diploma in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field
- Proven experience as a Commercial Finance Business Partner or in a similar role supporting sales and revenue optimization
- Strong commercial acumen and ability to work cross-functionally with business units
- Solid understanding of ERP systems and Business Intelligence tools (e.g., PowerBI, Excel)

- Deep understanding of pricing, profitability, and revenue optimization
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills
- Experience with financial risk assessment, contract management, and credit control
- Ability to interpret complex financial data and translate it into clear business actions
- Proactive mindset with the ability to identify gaps and drive continuous improvement
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
